Community Code of Conduct

Our Values

VEKA is built on respect, fairness, and passion for gaming. Every member — regardless of skill level, background, or identity — deserves to feel welcome and safe. These guidelines exist to protect that experience for everyone.

Be Respectful

Treat every member with dignity. This means:

  • No hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language targeting race, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or nationality.
  • No personal attacks, insults, or demeaning comments.
  • Respect differing opinions — constructive disagreement is healthy; personal attacks are not.
  • Be mindful of cultural differences in a global community.

No Harassment or Bullying

Harassment of any kind is strictly prohibited:

  • Sustained, unwanted contact or attention towards any member.
  • Doxxing — sharing another person's private information without consent.
  • Stalking, threats, or intimidation in any form.
  • Sexual harassment, unwelcome advances, or inappropriate content.

No Spam or Self-Promotion

Keep the community clean and relevant:

  • No unsolicited advertising, referral links, or promotional content in community channels.
  • No repetitive posting or flooding of messages.
  • Self-promotion is allowed only in designated areas (e.g., your own blog posts, marketplace listings).
  • No phishing links, malicious downloads, or scam content.

Fair Play in Events & Tournaments

Compete with honour:

  • No cheating, hacking, or use of unauthorized third-party tools.
  • No exploiting bugs or glitches for competitive advantage.
  • No teaming in solo brackets or match manipulation.
  • Respect event-specific rules announced by organisers.
  • Win or lose — congratulate your opponents and accept results gracefully.

Marketplace Rules

If you list items on the VEKA Marketplace:

  • Be honest and accurate in all listings — no misleading descriptions or images.
  • Deliver items or services as described and within agreed timeframes.
  • No listing stolen, counterfeit, or illegal items.
  • Resolve disputes fairly; escalate to VEKA moderation if needed.

Reporting Violations

If you witness or experience a violation of this Code of Conduct, report it through our Discord report channel or email [email protected]. Include as much detail as possible — usernames, timestamps, screenshots, or links. All reports are reviewed confidentially.

Enforcement & Bans

Violations are handled through a progressive enforcement system:

Warning — A formal notice for minor first-time violations.

Mute — Temporary restriction from posting or participating in community channels.

Temporary Ban — Suspension from the platform for a defined period.

Permanent Ban — Irreversible removal for severe or repeated violations.

Severity is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Serious violations (hate speech, threats, doxxing, cheating in tournaments) may result in immediate escalation to higher enforcement levels.
